What to Expect

• Phone call letting you know when we will be at your location
• An overall inspection of the entire roofing project.
• Reseal and repaint any deteriorated pipe flashings.
• Clean the roof drains, roof scuppers, rain gutters, valley areas and overall roof surfaces of leaves and debris.
• Complete necessary roof repairs in order to maintain the life expectancy of the roof.
• Clean out and re-fill any pitch pockets where the filler is cracked and/or shrinking
• Keep all gutters and drainage systems free of debris
• Check all caulking and sealants on flashing and copings
• Scrape and remove any caulking that is weather cracked and damaged, and re-apply polyurethane caulking such as NP-1 or equivalent to the repair area
• Check the mortar on chimneys and parapet walls and/or wall joints, both in-between the brick and on topSupply photo documentation of the repairs that have been made at the time of the inspection, as well as documentation of any additional repairs we are suggesting
• Document and notify the property management, property owner, or property association of service work and inspections completed.
• Report to the property management, property owner, or property association any improper roof penetrations or roof work completed by other companies.
• After the inspection, meet with the point of contact and walk them through the work we completed, showing the locations we repaired on the roof drawing along with the work order check list

Maintenance

Maintenance involves the physical inspection of an existing roofing system to determine it`s current condition, detect weakness and failures and identify any potential future problems. Through a program of regularly scheduled annual or semiannual inspections, the company`s technicians assist owner in protecting their roofing investments by seeking to identify damage in its early stages. Early detection of leaks and roof system failures make it possible for the company to repair and extend the life of a roof system, which is significantly less expensive and time consuming than re-roofing.
